Michigan News & Notes Hartland High School and EasternMichigan grad Beau Breault made quick work of turning professional by winning just the second pro tournament he entered – the Toledo Open on Sept. 16-17. dŚĞ ϮϬϭϴDŝĐŚŝŐĂŶ ŵĂƚĞƵƌ winner – who was also the ƌƵŶŶĞƌ ƵƉ ŝŶ ϮϬϭϳ ĂŶĚ ƌĞĂĐŚĞĚ ƚŚĞ ĮŶĂů ϰ ƚŚŝƐ ǇĞĂƌ ʹ ƚƵƌŶĞĚ pro recently to see if he can parlay a great amateur career into a new payday career. Breault’s opening round included six birdies on the back 9. He finished with 66- 68-134. He said the Stone Oak Country Club played so tight he only hit driver nine times in 36 holes.
