Typically, much of the magazine content is planned out in advance, with more recent news added in the few remaining days just before deadline. However, during the March lead into April, our global, national and local news was changing on a daily basis due to the COVID-19 situation. So, under the circumstances, please bear with us in realizing that all the information shared in the following pages was as accurate as possible as of March 30 , when the creative layout design process was underway. One thing that has become abundantly clear is that the game of golf is one of the few activities people in Michigan should be able to participate in during these tested times – it’s played outdoors, in fresh air, without the need to come too close to others. We also encourage golf lovers to keep planning that summer or fall buddy’s trip to a resort, or invite friends who don’t normally play golf to a putting contest outdoors – or review the other ideas shared on pages 28- 29 in the story of “Have More Fun in Your Foursome.” My best wishes go out to everyone. I hope the game of golf – and all of us – come out stronger on the other side.
