John Lindert, Director of Golf and COO of the Country Club of Lansing, was recently named Vice President of the PGA of America for the next two years. If the organization follows tradition, Lindert will move up to President after that and serve a two-year lead role in 2023-24. Such responsibilities during that time frame will include: • Rules Observer at The Masters each year. • A seat on the Ryder Cup Selection Committee the next 4 years. • Announcing the eventual Ryder Cup Captain for Bethpage Black in 2025 • Handing out the trophies for Ryder Cup, The Future of the PGA of America Rests on the Shoulders of a Michigan Man Grand Ledge resident John Lindert elevated to PGA Vice President
