Well I think in that, the biggest thing in its similarity to football is just creating the right match ups, putting your guys in the best chances to succeed. That’s something as a quarterback you have to do. And as a leader you have to find a way to make sure your guys are doing what they do best. Ryder Cup is a lot that way as well. Each golfer has different strengths and different weaknesses, and maybe your tactics are who they are paired with on your team, or who they are playing against on the opposite team. So, there is a lot that goes into the strategy, and that relates to football a good amount.” Q On avg. how often are you able to play golf? A “It’s a tough schedule to get good. I don’t play at all during the football season. I hang up my clubs mid-July and depending on the weather I bring them out again in February sometimes in California (or Georgia) if we can get out there and play. Then mid-April comes back around and we’re back into football a little bit, which makes it tougher to play. Maybe somewhere between 25 and 40 times a year.
