And I don’t mean short courses. We’re talking full length, par 72, 6,600-or-more-yard courses with a practice area too; on less than 70 acres of land – about half the land most 18-hole courses consume. John Zaliagiris has dreamed of being a full-time golf course designer his entire adult life – heck – make that since he was a 10-year-old in Livonia creating new golf courses with crayons on the huge chunks of cardboard that had wrapped his family’s newly-delivered refrigerator.
