He led the Spartans with a 72.18 scoring average in 2019-20 – the 5 th lowest single-season mark in program history – adding the first two tournament wins of his career (Island Resort Intercollegiate and the Inverness Intercollegiate.) Piot fired the lowest round of his collegiate career, a 6-under-par 66 in the second round of the Quail Valley Intercollegiate. Piot owns a 72.39 career scoring average, which is currently 3 rd best in MSU history. MSU’s Allyson Geer-Park and Valery Plata both earned Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-America honorable mention honors, Geer- Parks for the second time (2018). The Brighton native finished with the best career average in program history at 72.81 after logging a 72.39 her shortened senior season. She has since turned pro. Plata, a native of Colombia, cut nearly three strokes off her scoring average from last year, finishing her sophomore season at 72.5. Her win at the Tar Heel Invitational included three rounds in the 60s – 69, 68 and 68. MSU ended the year ranked No. 16. MGJ
