Michigan Golf Journal Game of Your Life GOLF - ame of Your Life Foundation - Building Up Youth The average person retires from their careers around age 65 – yet while Rolla Frisinger has reached that golden milestone, it’s quite possible he is just getting started. For more than four decades he has served youth golf in an attempt to grow the game and shows no signs of slowing down now as even more youth are flocking to the safe outdoor sport. Frisinger was making golf fun and challenging for kids long before it was ‘cool’ to play the game – before kids were in masses motivated to become Tour players. Frisinger created G.O.L.F. – Game of Your Life Foundation in 1994 while still the head pro at Coldwater Country Club. The non-profit has three main objectives: teach kids the game of golf, provide well-run tournaments across Michigan to challenge and test their skills, and hand out scholarships for college.
