Another Ice Golf option is coming up a week prior, Saturday Feb. 20; that’s if Covid restrictions do not get in the way. Rose’s on Reeds Lake has offered Ice Golf the past 27 years – and each year raises about $5,000 for Humane Society of West Michigan and Brew City Dog Biscuits. Rose’s general manager Bill Koski indicated the layout is a 9-hole par 3 course with yardages between 99 and 165 yards. Entry fees is also $40 per person and they typically handle 100 guests. Koski said most golfers would have all they need with some colored balls, a few short irons and a putter. Rose’s roots have been located on the shores of Reeds Lake dating back to the original burger bar in 1901.
