U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Qualifier A qualifier event will be held at Springfield Country Club June 22 for the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur. The U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur will be held July 30-August 4 in Alaska at the Anchorage Golf Course. Two Michigan Teams in USGA Four-Ball Championship Former UM Golf Teammates, Christian Vozza and Matthew McLaughlin shot 12-under par over the first two rounds of stroke play to finish T-4 and qualify for the match play portion of the USGA Four-Ball Championship at the Country Club of Birmingham. It took 20 holes to win their first match and stretched their second match to 24 holes, eventually losing to Ty Gingerich and Cole Harris. Bradley Bastion from Shelby Township and Anthony Sorentino from Rochester Hills finished runner-up at the Battle Creek Country Club qualifier. In Birmingham, they were two-under par for the first two rounds of stroke play, but missed the cut to qualify for the match play portion of the tournament. Michigan Golf Journal
