Folds of Honor Challenge Host, Grand Valley State won the Folds of Honor Challenge, an NCAA Division II tournament. They were two shots better than Aurora. Mississippi Gulf Coast was third with Illinois Wesleyan capturing fourth place. Adam Bresnu, from Odessa, was the individual champion with a total of 12-under par for three rounds. Eight shots behind the winner, Grand Valley State’s Drew Coble was runner-up followed by Michael Spitzer, from Illinois Wesleyan and Caleb Negley, from Aurora. Point O’ Woods Men’s Collegiate Rochester University hosted the Point O’ Woods Men’s Collegiate at Benton Harbor Golf Club. Wheaton was 14 shots better than Colin Schadek, from the University of Findlay, was the medalist with a three-under par effort finishing one shot clear of Wayne State’s Max Leppelmeier. Five players tied for third at one-under par. Cleary with Madonna and the host Rochester grabbing third and fourth. Cleary’s Axel Houdaille was seven-under par for the two rounds to win the individual medalist honors by three shots over Wheaton’s Jonah Swartz. Two more Wheaton players, Wyatt Brown and Sam Obitts finished tied for third. Cleary University Invitational The Cleary University Invitational was hosted by Cleary University at Chemung Hills Country Club. The host won the team event by a single shot over Lourdes University. Siena Heights was third with Rochester coming in fourth. Cleary’s Axel Houdaille was the only player to finish under par for the event and grabbed medalist honors. Rochester’s Pete Greene was runner-up with Michigan-Dearborn’s Brandon Tirador tied for third with Lourdes’ Alban Bruyas. Get To Foundation Invitational Hillsdale College hosted the Get To Foundation at the newly renovated Saint John’s Resort. Wayne State won the team segment by a single stoke over the University of Findlay. The host Hillsdale came in third ahead of Saginaw Valley State. Hillsdale’s Robert Thompson tied with Luke Metzger from Findlay for medalist at even par. Wayne State’s Tyler Hurtubise was third while Alex Swinnerton from IUP was fourth.
