The first full year of the Michigan Golf Journal, which began in January, is now “in the books” as they say. We can’t thank you and our sponsors enough for the gracious support and good will wishes heard from hundreds of people the past 12 months. Due to the tremendous support we plan to keep going in 2019 and beyond.
For this issue, if you are getting the golf bug again and want to travel, we’re highlighting recent golf trips to Alabama and Hilton Head Island, SC. Great golf awaits in both locations – which are of course much warmer now than in the Great Lakes.
Or – head indoors to the Tee Box in Ann Arbor to keep your swing sharp and have some fun playing golf games with your friends.
Also highlighted in this 12th edition of the MGJ are tips for winter practice, 2019 changes in the Rules of Golf, award announcements across Michigan, and a wonderful story related to designer Pete Dye. We hope you continue to enjoy reading and pass this along to your friends.
