On a beautiful October day BOYNE’s latest attraction the SkyBridge opened with autumn’s red, gold and yellow colors providing a glorious background. SkyBridge is modeled after BOYNE’s SkyBridge in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
The 1,204-foot Michigan SkyBridge spans the McLouth and Disciples Ridge peaks at BOYNE Mountain hanging 218 feet in the air. This work of art is held in place by two huge timber framed anchors paying respect to the state’s logging heritage.
To reach SkyBridge, take one of several chairlifts up the mountain, or hike one of BOYNE Mountain’s trails. Either way, it will be an exhilarating adventure.
Michigan’s ‘Second Bridge’ has been receiving rave reviews and allows BOYNE Mountain visitors to take a ‘walk on the wild side’ to experience the beauty of the Mitten State.
