The Bucks Run Golf Club just outside Mt. Pleasant celebrated its 20th Anniversary the entire first week of July. The Jerry Matthews design got its start on the site of an old gravel mining operation. It is owned by the family-owned group of construction companies known as the Fisher Companies – and in addition to an outstanding 18-hole design, has a real grass putt-putt course on an island in the lake next to the clubhouse.
The design has won numerous golf awards and runs along the Chippewa River, natural wetlands, through wooded areas and photo-ready lakes.
