The Gaylord Golf Mecca made a quiet announcement in mid-September that threw a curveball at golfers by announcing The Tribute at the Otsego Resort has reopened.
The report added: After changing ownership earlier this year, The Classic and The Tribute at the Otsego Resort were unfortunately not reopened in the spring. Course maintenance, however, continued throughout the summer and The Tribute is reported to be in excellent condition.
The Tribute is a wonderful northern Michigan course with iconic elevation changes and incredible views of the Sturgeon River Valley. It has had a rough few years lately as delays in ownership transfer caused a huge mess. Let’s hope this is the beginning of a great new era for the gorgeous property found just outside downtown Gaylord.
