Michigan resident Meg Mallon, with 18 LPGA wins including four majors, will headline the West Michigan Golf Show on Feb. 9-10 at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids.
“With my Michigan ties, it’s very exciting to be part of the show in Grand Rapids,” Mallon said. “As home to the Meijer LPGA Classic, I know this region is a hotbed of golfers who love the game.”
Mallon’s breakout year on the LPGA Tour occurred in 1991 when she won four times including two majors — the LPGA Championship and the U.S. Women’s Open. The following year, she was selected to her first of 8 consecutive U.S. Solheim Cup teams. She then captained the 2013 team.
In addition to Mallon’s talk to show goers, other seminars will be given by Alison Curdt, a PGA Master Professional trained in Clinical Psychology and the 2015 LPGA Teacher of the Year – plus Jeff Caminiti, Maple Hill Golf; Ian Hughes, GolfTEC; Jason Guss; Patti Butcher; and Joe Charles, Treetops.
The West Michigan Golf Show hours are 2:00 pm-9:00 pm, Friday; 10:00 am-6:00 pm, Saturday; and 10:00 am-4:00 pm, Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults, $4 for children ages 6-14, and children 5 and under are free. Tickets will be available at the door as well as online at www.westmichigangolfshow.com
