PGA Junior Golf Camps, the PGA of America’s signature golf camps for boys and girls ages 6 to 17, will be offered at more than 150 courses across 34 states – the only location in Michigan being Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton.
Registration for 2019 summer camps is available by visiting www.PGAJuniorGolfCamps.com or by calling 888.PGA.PLAY (888-742-7529).
In addition to learning the fundamentals for full swing, putting, and chipping; campers learn golf’s rules and etiquette. They also learn life skills, such as integrity and good sportsmanship, which are important building blocks to developing character in young people.
“Whether parents simply want their children to get outside and have some fun, learn a game they can play as a family, or take the next step toward their child’s dream of playing at a highly competitive level, the camps provide the right mix of playing and learning to keep the game fun,” said Marc Haddad, founder and CEO of PGA Junior Golf Camps.
At Oak Pointe, half-day camp offerings from 9:00 a.m. to 12noon will take place June 18-21,
