Coming off last season that included the Broncos’ first team win since 2011, Western Michigan looks to continue the momentum into a strong 2018-2019 season. The Broncos return four starters: senior Claire Hernandez and junior Jasmine Chee. Sophomores Megan Watkins (Frankenmuth) and Cameryn Lucia (Grand Blanc) should build on their experiences form last year. Rounding out the roster are incoming freshmen Fiona Wang and Lapeer High graduate Brooke Gibbons.
The Broncos will travel to Ball State and play a strong 15-team field for the first of five fall events. Into October comes the Mid-American Conference Preview. Come spring, WMU will again travel to Arizona to host the Rio Verde Collegiate Invitational in February.
