Since it was founded less than 10 years ago, Shot Scope based in Edinburgh, Scotland has been a leader in shot tracking and GPS applications. They now offer a new feature for their mobile app called My Strategy.
My Strategy allows players prior to the round to plot out the best way to play each hole which makes it great for traveling and serious golfers. How many times have you played an unfamiliar course and your ball found a water hazard, or bunker that you couldn’t see and didn’t realize was there?
The APP uses data from 30 of your most recent wood and shots to suggest the best routing for you to attack the hole.
Available for both Android and iOS, the Shot Scope APP syncs data from Shot Scopes GPS rangefinders, Smart Watches and tracking tags to show the best club off the tee, aiming point and line to avoid both the rough and hazards.
The data tracks an individual’s shot tendencies and typical distance with each club to provide the most effective course management. Shot dispersion tendency, plus wind and elevation adjustments are also available for each shot.
