I have been hearing nothing but rave reviews from friends that have visited the new SkyBridge at BOYNE Mountain. It opened just in time to catch the height of the color season. Being 1,200 feet in the air provides a panoramic view of the surrounding hillsides that were alive with vibrant reds, yellows and golds. If you are looking to try something new, you may want to give it a try.
Sunday, October 23rd was one of the most beautiful days on record in northern Michigan. I had the opportunity to play Crystal Downs that day and the old girl did not disappoint. Alister MacKenzie routed a sometimes quirky, but challenging design over and around the sand dunes that split Lake Michigan and Crystal Lake.
Driving back to Cadillac after my round, the leaves, although somewhat past their peak, were still ablaze with color and the sunshine made it a very pleasant drive indeed.
The Girls High School golf season ended last month and we have the results for all four divisions in this issue.
In early October we visited Sedona, Arizona. If you have never been to that part of the country, please put it near the top of your wish list. The red cliffs and rock formations are simply awe-inspiring, plus as you can see in this issue, there are some very good golfing opportunities in Sedona as well.

The golf season is definitely winding down in Michigan and we are looking forward to Thanksgiving. We have a lot to be Thankful for this year.
