Wow, that was a Long Winter

While it seemed like golf season would never arrive, June is one of the most action-packed months for golf in Michigan. From high school state finals, to the Michigan Open to Michigan Amateur to the Women’s Open, June is filled with top-notch competitions.
That’s in addition to the Meijer LPGA Classic in Grand Rapids and the Symetra Tour visiting the Upper Peninsula for the Island Resort Championship. Not only do such Tour events provide great golf viewing, more importantly the charity impact in each community is huge.

June is also the month to get your summer golf plans solidified if not already prearranged, so check out options shared in this month’s edition, such as – golf and so much more in Gaylord’s Golf Mecca, in the Petoskey/Bay Harbor area, and at Crystal Mountain Resort.
Don’t hesitate to read all the way through this issue to learn more about setting up your own backyard putting green, and see the college players from Michigan who won conference honors this spring.
And please tell all your playing partners this summer about the Michigan Golf Journal – we are here to support your enjoyment of the game.
