Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational The Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational is the only two-person team event on the LPGA Tour schedule and has been a huge success, since it began in 2019. Cydney Clanton teamed with Thidapa Suwannapura to win that inaugural event. It was not held in 2020 and the Jutanugarn sisters, Ariya and Moriya won it last year. The purse has been raised to $2.5 million for 2022 with the first-place team splitting $607,600.00. It is slightly different from normal weekly LPGA tournaments as the first round will be held on Wednesday, July 13 and concludes on Saturday, July 16. There will be a full slate of activities surrounding the tournament including concerts, a kid’s zone, veteran’s hospitality suite, as well as a Special Olympics 3-hole challenge.
